About the manual
CTRL CUT CO's PAIA Manual has been prepared in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000, as amended.
It explains the categories of records we hold, records that may be available without a formal request, relevant legislation, how personal information is processed and protected, and the procedure for requesting access to records.
The full manual contains 17 sections across 28 pages.

Requesting a record
For a formal request for access to records held by a private body, the manual directs requesters to use the prescribed Form 2: Request for Access to Record, available from South Africa's Information Regulator.
A requester must identify the record, the right they seek to exercise or protect, and why access to that record is necessary. Where applicable, proof of identity or authority to act for another person must be supplied.
Subject to PAIA and any legally permitted extension, CTRL CUT CO will communicate a decision on a valid request within 30 days. Relevant fees and grounds for refusing access are explained in sections 14 and 15 of the manual.
