We're a South African creative production studio bringing together experienced people across editing, motion, animation, design and creative direction. We stay close to the work, contribute our thinking and collaborate with the teams who bring us in, from the first conversation through to final delivery.

OUR STORY

WE SAW WHAT WE COULD BUILD TOGETHER.

CTRL CUT CO didn't begin with three people sharing exactly the same ambitions. We came from different backgrounds, with different strengths and our own reasons for wanting to build something. What brought us together was recognising the opportunity in combining those perspectives. We already had creative and technical experience within the team. Bringing that together with different approaches to production, problem-solving and business gave us the foundation for something bigger than any one discipline. We wanted to build a studio that people genuinely enjoy working with. One where good ideas are taken seriously, the work is handled with care, and strong relationships matter just as much as the final result. A place where clients feel understood, collaboration comes naturally and trust is built through the work we do together. That's the studio we're continuing to build. One shaped by different perspectives, a shared commitment to doing good work and the ambition to create something sustainable that everyone involved can be proud of.

We start by understanding the intention, whether we're shaping the direction or building on an existing vision. We contribute ideas, ask the right questions and challenge decisions when the work needs it.

CRAFT WITH PURPOSE

Every frame, movement and detail should strengthen the idea. We care about the finish, but never let technique become the point.

GOOD WORK IS COLLABORATIVE

We value honest conversations, considered feedback and respect for the teams we join. The relationships around the work deserve the same care as the work itself.
